Position: Dining Room Server
Location: Country Club of Terre Haute
With a tradition of excellence and service in the Wabash Valley since 1898, the Country Club of Terre Haute has been the place for fine dining, recreation and social activities for more than a century. Our amenities include, but are not limited to: an 18 hole, par 71 golf course with a PGA certified staff, swimming pool, tennis courts, a variety of dining options, and an array of special events.
Restaurant servers ensure that our member and their guests have an enjoyable dining experience by providing quality customer service. No formal education is necessary, however experience is preferred. On-the-job training will be necessary. An ability to multitask in a high-pressured environment is a must. Servers must become proficient with our point-of-sale system. A liquor license will also be required
Duties
A server’s primary duties include, but are not limited to:
Providing great customer service
Taking orders, and delivering food
Answering questions regarding the menu
Working closely with other wait staff
Working well with kitchen to ensure the restaurant is operated efficiently
Offering suggestions and recommendations, such as wine pairings
Processing payment
Greeting customers
Cleaning tables and dining area
Setting tables
Assisting the event staff with room set-up when necessary
Other duties as assigned by management

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to walk and stand for lengthy periods of time. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Employee is regularly required to climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. Employee is also required to stand and reach with hands and arms and regularly use hands and fingers.
Minimum age requirement:
Must be at least 19 years of age and able to obtain a valid liquor license.

Pay: $10.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15 – 35 per week
