Mission of the Department: The mission of the Adams County Adult Correctional Complex (ACACC) is to protect and serve the residents of Adams County and the public by providing progressive and comprehensive correctional and rehabilitative services. These functions are achieved through well managed and effective correctional programming, including: the use of pre-trial supervision, secure incarceration, community re-entry programs, and highly accountable security methods.
Purpose: As the MAT Case Manager at the ACACC, you will be responsible for conducting level of care assessments, case management, re-entry planning, MAT program(s), grant management to include research, applications, reporting, and data collection related to offenders engaged with MAT Services.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct Drug and Alcohol Level of Care Assessments on offenders who report or are committed to the ACACC with Drug and/or Alcohol related offenses or who have been referred for such assessment through court order or MAT program requirement.
- Conduct LS/CMI risk/need assessments on offenders to assist in treatment and case planning.
- Coordinate the ACACC MAT Program.
- Refer and coordinate individualized drug and alcohol services for inmates in the jail and the community based on referrals and court orders.
- Access funding resources for inmates through public and private sources.
- Provide individual and group treatment programs related to substance use disorders.
- Collect and report on requested data related to offenders participating in individualized drug and alcohol services.
- Participate in any audits required by licensure board(s).
- Adhere to established protocols for client confidentiality.
- Liaison with the Courts, Department of Probation Services, and community agencies.
- Attend training, as required.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Bachelor’s degree in social or behavioral sciences, or related field.
- Must complete the PA Department of Corrections’ Basic Training Academy.
- At least 3 years of experience in social work for drug and alcohol, mental health, or related fields with a preference for justice-involved clients or within a criminal justice or correctional setting.
