Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children. This role involves engaging with preschool-aged children, implementing educational activities, and ensuring their safety and well-being while promoting their social, emotional, and cognitive development.
Duties
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with early childhood education standards.
- Create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively using positive reinforcement techniques.
- Provide individualized attention to children, catering to their unique needs and learning styles.
- Facilitate daily activities including storytelling, arts and crafts, music, and outdoor play.
- Monitor children's progress and maintain accurate records of their development.
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including first aid procedures.
- Collaborate with colleagues to create a cohesive educational experience for all students.
Experience
The ideal candidate should possess the following skills and experience:
- Experience working with children in a childcare or caregiving setting.
- Strong classroom management skills to maintain an organized learning environment.
- Knowledge of first aid practices is preferred.
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities is a plus.
- Familiarity with infant care or toddler care is beneficial.
- Previous babysitting experience can be advantageous in understanding child behavior.
- A background in early childhood education or related fields is desirable but not mandatory.
