Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Preschool Teacher to join our team. As a Preschool Teacher, you will be responsible for creating a nurturing and stimulating environment that fosters the growth and development of preschool-aged children. You will implement engaging curriculum activities that promote literacy, math skills, and social-emotional learning while ensuring the safety and well-being of all students.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum that aligns with early childhood education standards.
- Foster a positive classroom environment that encourages exploration, creativity, and learning.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively, utilizing positive reinforcement strategies.
- Conduct assessments to monitor children's progress in literacy, math, and other developmental areas.
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child's development and classroom activities.
- Provide care for toddlers as needed, ensuring their safety and comfort.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the educational experience for all students.
- Support children with disabilities by adapting lessons and providing individualized attention.
Requirements
- Associate’s degree in early childhood education or related field preferred.
- Experience working with young children in a preschool setting is essential.
- Strong skills in curriculum development and classroom management.
- Knowledge of literacy education practices and math concepts for preschoolers.
- Experience working with children with disabilities is a plus.
- Ability to create engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $12.00 - $14.00 per hour
