Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Front of House Manager to oversee the daily operations of our restaurant. Responsibilities
- Supervise front of house staff, including servers, hosts, and bartenders, ensuring they provide excellent customer service.
- Oversee daily restaurant operations, including opening and closing procedures.
- Manage inventory control, ensuring that supplies are adequately stocked and waste is minimized.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to maintain food production standards and quality.
- Assist in budgeting and financial management to meet operational goals.
- Train new employees on restaurant policies, procedures, and customer service standards.
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally to ensure satisfaction.
- Monitor cleanliness and organization of the dining area and bar.
- Implement health and safety regulations in compliance with local laws.
Experience
- Previous experience in a supervisory role within a restaurant or hotel environment is required.
- Strong knowledge of food management practices and casual dining operations.
- Experience in bartending or managing bar operations is a plus.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
- Familiarity with inventory control systems and budgeting processes.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
