Job Summary

Responsibilities
- Provide direct support to clients in daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication management.
- Monitor patients' health status through regular observation and reporting any changes to healthcare professionals.
- Assist with memory care activities to enhance cognitive function and maintain engagement.
- Perform heavy lifting as necessary for client transfers or mobility assistance.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients by adhering to hygiene standards and protocols.
- Document care provided and maintain accurate records of patient interactions and observations.
- Support individuals with autism or other developmental disabilities by implementing personalized care plans.
- Foster a positive relationship with clients to encourage trust and emotional well-being.
Experience
- Previous experience in senior care, long-term care, or direct support roles is preferred but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with first aid practices is a plus, ensuring readiness in case of emergencies.
- Experience in patient monitoring and observation techniques is highly valued.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting tasks related to client care is essential.
- A background in memory care or working with individuals on the autism spectrum will enhance your candidacy.
