Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of assigned areas, including rooms, bathrooms, hallways, and common areas.
- Ensure all surfaces are sanitized and free from dust, dirt, and debris.
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report any shortages or needs to management.
- Follow established protocols for cleaning and disinfecting to ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
- Collaborate with housekeeping management to develop efficient cleaning schedules.
- Provide exceptional customer service by responding promptly to guest requests and inquiries.
- Assist with floor care tasks such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing as needed.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in custodial or housekeeping roles is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of industrial cleaning techniques and equipment is a plus.
- Familiarity with hospitality standards and practices in hotel environments is advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain high cleanliness standards.
- Excellent time management skills to effectively prioritize tasks throughout the day.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
