The Cove Vibe Protector
The Security Team aka our "Vibe Protectors" exist to do just that - protect our vibe. At The Cove, we are all about having a good time, but this team goes above and beyond to ensure everyone's enjoying themselves in a safe environment. As a Vibe Protector, you are even keeled and keep your cool consistently. Contrary to popular belief, instead of breaking up altercations, you help ensure they never happen! You will serve as a vital link between management and law enforcement officials. You keep everything running smoothly and in an orderly fashion.
*This is a seasonal job that requires a flexible and open schedule between the months of April-September.
A day in the life:
- Perform opening and closing duties
- Check ID’s and bags at the door
- Stamp guests before entry into the venue
- Scan the venue for any potential guest issues
- Approach guests to build relationships with them
- Remove guests from the venue when approved by management

Qualifications
You must:
- Have (or obtain after hire) TABC and Food Handlers’ Certification
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 8 hours)
- Be comfortable with wearing a uniform designed for beach/pool/outdoor activities
- Be able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift to 50 pounds
- Be able to work in the sun and heat for extended periods of time (up to 8 hours)
