What are the responsibilities and job description for the Server position at The crab 99?
Responsibilities:
- Greet and sometimes seat guests in a timely and friendly manner
- Take food and drink orders accurately and efficiently
- Deliver food and beverages to tables
- Provide excellent customer service and address any guest concerns or inquiries
- Assist with bussing tables and maintaining a clean dining area
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders
- Handle cash and credit card transactions and process payments accurately
Skills:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Basic math skills for cash handling and order accuracy
- Knowledge of food preparation and sanitation practices
- Excellent hospitality and guest relations skills
Note: Previous experience as a server for 2 or more years in a dining room environment, is required. Training will be provided for the right candidate.
