Position Overview
As a Kitchen Porter & Food Prep Associate, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen. From maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards to preparing and portioning food using detailed recipes and measurements, your work will set the foundation for a successful next shift.
Responsibilities
Kitchen Porter Duties:
- Wash and organize dishes, pots, pans, and utensils.
- Follow a strict nightly kitchen cleaning regimen, including cleaning commercial equipment, scrubbing walls, floors, and mopping.
- Adhere to safety, cleaning, and sanitation procedures at all times.
Food Prep Duties:
- Prepare and portion food according to a detailed list of recipes and measurements.
- Ensure accuracy and consistency in portioning and preparation.
- Maintain a clean and organized prep station.
Qualifications
- Ability to follow precise directions and maintain attention to detail.
- Availability on weekends.
- Capable of lifting heavy objects and standing for extended periods.
- Previous experience in food prep or kitchen work is a plus but not required.
