We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our team in a vibrant dining environment. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for providing exceptional customer service in a fine dining or nightclub setting. As a Server, you will be responsible for delivering an outstanding dining experience to our guests, ensuring their needs are met with professionalism and efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests with a friendly demeanor, providing menus and information about daily specials.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using the Aloha POS system, ensuring all requests are communicated clearly to the kitchen staff.
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining a high standard of presentation and quality.
- Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their meal, addressing any concerns or requests promptly.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations by properly handling, storing, and serving food items.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the dining area, including tables, utensils, and service stations.
- Process payments accurately using a cash register, handling cash and credit transactions securely.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure smooth service flow during busy periods.
Skills
- Proven experience in fine dining or nightclub settings is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests.
- Familiarity with food safety practices and sanitation standards.
- Proficient in using Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with guests and team members.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Knowledge of culinary terms and menu items to provide informed recommendations to guests.
