About The Role
The Croft School: South End is seeking an exceptional School Operations Associate to manage and execute on critical non-instructional, non-programmatic aspects of the school. This individual, part of the school’s operations team, will report to the Director of Operations. Needs to be available for an 8 hour shift between school opening hours, 7:30am - 5:30pm Monday through Friday, dependent on the school’s needs.
The role presents a unique opportunity to play a critical role in a young, growing school that is increasing in complexity and scale, yet passionately committed to maintaining a high-quality, personalized experience for our students and families.
With support from and in partnership with Croft South End’s Director of Operations and Head of School, as well as our organization’s Executive Director and Chief Operating Officer, this individual will have a broad array of responsibilities across many functional areas, including the following:
Receptionist Responsibilities. The School Operations Associate will be responsible for ensuring receptionist responsibilities are executed effectively. This includes answering phones, managing visitors, receiving and distributing packages, sorting mail, greeting families and students, and implementing all safety protocols.
Overseeing Effectiveness and Supporting Implementation of School-Level Operational Systems. The School Operations Associate, in partnership with the Head of School and one or more operations associates, will ensure effectiveness and integrity of all critical school-level operational systems, including but not limited to:
In addition to the above areas of work, this individual can expect regular ad hoc projects and tasks to arise in our fast-paced environment.
