About The Job -
Prepare and process Consumer, Home Equity, Indirect, and Mobile Home loans for all originators and lenders.
Essential Job Duties –
- Perform high volume, time sensitive duties related to loan documentation for all types of consumer loans using the document processing software.
- Request and follow-up on order outs of insurance, appraisals, title work, and flood determinations.
- Obtain loan payoff quotes and remit payoff proceeds for all loan types.
- Perform quality control on all types of consumer documents in compliance with Bank and regulatory guidelines.
- Prepare loan funding and other GL transactions to complete the loan funding process
- Process documentation for Cancelled, Denied, and Withdrawn applications.
- Maintain a proactive internal communication with Loan Processing Lead to enhance loan production and maximize the functionality of the loan processing systems.
- Work in coordination with Consumer Loan Underwriter and Indirect Lending to ensure that loan transactions are carried out within the assigned parameters of the bank.
- Maintain open communications with Loan Servicing.
- Work with branch personnel, both verbally and in writing, in problem solving and question resolution to minimize risk to the Bank and ensure customer satisfaction in the loan closing process.
- Demonstrate a willingness to adapt to changing business needs and deadlines.
- Support customer and banking center inquiries.
- Comply with and maintain working knowledge of applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act, the Patriot Act, and the Office of Foreign Assets Control. Complete assigned compliance training essential to job function.
- Punctual and regular attendance is required.
Requirements -
- High school diploma
- Less than one years of consumer processing experience
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office software
- Ability to work in a sitting position and perform keyboard strokes a majority of the day
- Ability to lift boxes, such as department supplies, as needed
