Music Director ...this full-time position is responsible for the oversight of the music team staff and related staff to assist and develop the worship music and music team members of The Crossing in a way that consistently upholds the values and beliefs of The Crossing.
ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Be responsible for Team Development & Leadership
Oversee and Manage Music Production Staff
Stay current with team members through written and oral communication on a regular basisDevelop training opportunities and resources for team membersBe active part in the Potential & New Team Members ProcessContribute to the creative processes for music and programmingSongwriting
Song and idea demosRecording / song productionOversee the execution of all worship-related music and staffing details for weekend services and specified eventsStaff Musicians & Worship Leaders for weekend and specified events
Based on programming needs and teams per campus
Oversee contractors, including onboarding and invoicingOversee musical aspects of Baptism Concert and work with production staff to accommodateCommunicate details from programming meetings to music staff and oversee Planning Center OnlineAll musical details properly loaded to Planning Center (charts, mp3's, etc.)
Ableton details (i.e. looped section for pivot)Song formsCommunicate details from programming meetings to musicians and Worship LeadersConfirm key signatures with leads at all sites
