Maintenance Technician

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Our team relies on skilled professionals like you to ensure the upkeep of our properties. Receive work orders or verbal instructions from supervisors for timely completion.
• Keep internal areas of buildings clean and tidy by buffing, dusting, sweeping, and mopping floors.
• Maintain grounds by picking up trash and ensuring a neat appearance.
• Wash windows to provide a clear view and improve overall aesthetic appeal.
• Empty trash cans and consolidate trash for efficient weekly pickup.
• Possess basic knowledge of hand tools to perform various tasks effectively.
• Paint interior and exterior walls and trim to enhance the visual appeal of our properties.
• Repair parking lots and sidewalks using asphalt, cold patching materials, and concrete to maintain a safe environment.
• Operate snow removal equipment to keep parking lots and sidewalks clear during winter months.
• Maintain and repair buildings' plumbing and electrical systems, including replacing worn or defective parts such as switches and fuses, to prevent disruptions.
• Repair or replace building brick, stone, and concrete to maintain a durable and secure structure.
• Maintain and repair wood parts of buildings to ensure a sturdy and long-lasting framework.
• Replace worn or damaged parts such as hoses, wiring, and belts in machines and equipment such as trucks, street sweepers, and riding mowers to maintain optimal performance.
• Assist other departments with moving furniture, appliances, and unloading and storing supplies to support a smooth operation.
• Respond to emergency calls onsite within 30 minutes of receiving the call if part of the on-call rotation to ensure prompt assistance.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by management to contribute to the success of our team.
