We're looking for an enthusiastic and professional Dining Room Attendant/Bar Back to join our upscale casual restaurant. The ideal candidate will be welcoming to our guest, have excellent customer service skills, have the ability to maintain a positive attitude at all times, understands technology to do basic computer tasks, and must be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for making assisting servers, running food to tables, assisting host with seating guests, assisting bartender with glassware cleaning, setting up tables for guests, greeting guests, , and ensuring that their dining experience is enjoyable.
Responsibilities:
- Greet in a friendly and courteous manner.
- Assist servers, as needed.
- Clean and reset tables.
- Provide guests with menus and answer questions about menu items.
- Assist with setting up tables for large parties.
- Maintain a clean and organized dining area.
- Provide excellent customer service.
- Provide fast and efficient service.
The Dining Room Assistant will assist the Host with setting up tables and seating guests as well as assist Servers with running food, refilling water glasses, clearing tables, sanitizing tables, and resetting tables.
The Bar Back will assist the bartender with cleaning glassware, greeting guests at the bar, cleaning bar top when guests leave, taking orders for bartender, and possibly pouring beer and wine.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $10.00 - $18.00 per hour
