Job Title: Event Specialist
Location: Burbank, CA (Onsite)
Job Responsibilities / Typical Day in the Role
Logistics:
- Lead coordination for all assigned events through event, install and physical strike.
- Manage all event food and beverage, event rentals installation, staffing, event design, Entertainment, security, and parking logistics.
- Management of food and beverage, create event layouts/ diagrams, menu collaboration with Executive Chef
- Create event proposals for clients in an accurate and timely fashion.
- Procure and process all client event payments inclusive of deposits.
Communication:
- Complete and submit cost sheets, tip sheets, submit pre-event quotes and post-event invoices.
- Manage and reconcile event budgets post-event ensuring alignment with department profit goals.
- Support the operations of the department; Maintain internal stock(s) inventories on a monthly basis.
Administrative:
- Participate in weekly team meetings, report on portfolio of events, and prepare post-event reports.
- Attend client site visits, respond to phone, email, and website inquiries, requests for information.
Must Have Skills / Requirements
1) 3 years of experience managing/producing events with food & beverage, lighting design, audio, event design, and logistics.
2) Proven ability to successfully manage client relationships on a day-to-day basis.
3) Must be able to lift 50 lbs - must be ok with physical labor.
4) Ability to work a flexible schedule and travel as required.
Nice to Have Skills / Preferred Requirements
1) 1 years of Xytech or other proposal generating software
2) 1 years of experience with Monday.com or similar project management software
Soft Skills
1) Strong verbal and written communication skills.
2) Accustomed to working in extremely fast paced, detail oriented and methodical fashion.
Education / Certifications/ Licenses
• California Drivers License.
