As the VP of Sales, you will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies, building and leading a high-performing sales team, and expanding our market presence. You will also be a key member of the executive team, contributing to the overall strategic direction and success of the Company.
Key Responsibilities:
· Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to achieve company goals and objectives.
· Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to exceed targets and deliver outstanding results.
· Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand our market share.
· Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and industry partners.
· Analyze market trends and competitor activities to stay ahead of the competition.
· Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless project execution and customer satisfaction.
· Monitor and report on sales performance, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
· Foster a culture of continuous improvement and professional development within the sales team.
· Drive efforts to increase the backlog of sales year over year, consistently hitting and exceeding sales goals.
· Consistently drive gross profit margin up through strategic pricing, cost management, and value-added services.
· Participate in executive team meetings, providing strategic input and contributing to the overall direction of the Company.
· Leverage industry knowledge to develop innovative sales approaches and solutions.
Qualifications:
· Proven track record of success in a senior sales leadership role, preferably in the flooring or construction industry.
· Strong leadership and team-building skills.
· Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
· Strategic thinker with the ability to drive results and achieve targets.
· Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, competitive environment.
· Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred.
· Experience with CRM software and sales analytics tools.
· Demonstrated ability to develop and implement successful sales strategies in the construction industry.
