We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Logistics Coordinator to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will support the overall responsibility of the Director of Logistics and Order Fulfillment by coordinating the logistics operations to ensure efficient supply chain management. You will play a vital role in optimizing processes, managing inventory, and facilitating communication between various stakeholders within the distribution network. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills and a solid understanding of logistics and supply chain principles.
Responsibilities
- Receives and enter all Purchase Orders (POs) from Customers in QuickBooks; provide pick lists to Warehouse; issue shipping documents
- Ensures availability all products reflected on the PO
- Maintains communication with upstream and downstream departments
- Ensures the safe and timely pick-up and delivery of shipments
- Addresses and resolve shipment and inventory issues
- Sends Advance shipping notices
- Prints and manages shipping documents
- Answers customer inquiries
- Coordinates activities throughout the order fulfilment and transportation cycle to make sure established deadlines are met
- Orders and manages Pallet counts (CHEP)
- Sends invoices via Email or EDI portal
- Coordinates all 2- 3PL activity
- Works with internal and external customers for resolution of claims and disputes
Experience
- Associates’ Degree from an accredited college or university in a related field of study, or equivalent experience.
- · Experience in a GMP/food manufacturing environment
- · Excellent time management and organizational skills, and a keen attention to detail
- · Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- · Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
- · Proficiency in MS Office including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint

Pay: $19.00 - $25.00 per hour
