Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Baker to join our team. The ideal candidate will be a well rounded professional baker with experience in multiple areas of the kitchen. If you have experience in a commercial environment and enjoy working as a member of a team, we would love to hear from you.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare a variety of baked goods such as bread, pastries, and desserts from scratch using our formulas and techniques
- Follow recipes and adhere to food safety standards
- Operate kitchen equipment including mixers, ovens, and proofing cabinets
- Monitor mixing and baking processes, adjusting timing as needed
- Decorate pastries and baked goods as directed
- Ensure the kitchen area is clean and organized
Requirements:
- Previous experience in commercial from-scratch baking
- Ability to handle kitchen tools effectively
- Understanding of food safety and kitchen safety practices
- Familiarity with bakery kitchen operations
- Culinary or baking certification/degree is a plus, but not required
- Strong team player skills
You must be able to stand on your feet all day and lift 50 pounds.
