What are the responsibilities and job description for the Medical Claims Examiner position at The CSI Companies?
The CSI Companies has partnered with a leading healthcare organization looking to add a Medical Claims Examiner to their team, headquartered in the Clearwater, FL area. This is a contract-to-hire position Schedule : Monday-Friday 8am-5pm EST.
- While on contract, the job will be ON-SITE . After the contract ends, you will have the opportunity to work remote Monday's and Friday's. Pay : $19-22 / hr based on experience Responsibilities :
- Responsible for working closely with the Claims Supervisor and Manager of Claims Operations to ensure that claims received are adjudicated in a timely manner and accurately
- Responsible for adjudicating claims in assigned work queues based on written Policies and Procedures and the terms of Certificates, Sharing Guidelines and Plan Documents of clients;
- Diligently reviewing all system-generated edits which have been applied to claims in the Examiner's assigned queues prior to releasing the claims
- Maintaining daily, weekly and monthly required production levels documented in Claims Department Policies and Procedures
- Complete other duties as assigned
