Job description
Looking for a team member to cross train on positions. Would be a mixed position Job.
Qualifications:
- Positive and can-do attitude
- Patient and customer-oriented approach
- At least 18 years of age
- Able to pass a background check.
- Follows health, safety, and sanitation guidelines and standards
- Basic math skills.
Barista Responsibilities:
- Attend to customers upon their entrance.
- Work with a cash register and handle card and cash payments
- Take orders while paying attention to details (e.g. preferences of coffee blend, dairy, and sugar ratios)
- Preparing and serving beverages such as drip coffee, espresso-based drinks, tea and other specialty drinks
- Serve beverages and prepared food, like cookies, pastries, and muffins.
- Help keep the facility stocked, neat, and clean.
- Comply with health and safety regulations.
- Check if brewing equipment operates properly and report any maintenance needs
- Deal with complaints or problems with a positive attitude
- Maintain tables and floor in the cafe area
Play Floor Responsibilities:
- Maintain and walk the play floor
- Ensure guests are following all safety rules
- Comply with health and safety regulations.
- Follow all deep cleaning procedures
- Plan, Set up and help with special events
- Deal with complaints or problems with a positive attitude
Preferred Experience:
- Barista: 1-year Location: One location
Preferred Skills:
- SERV safe certification
- CPR and First Aid Certified
- Previous work experience as a Barista
- Hands-on experience with brewing equipment
