Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Host to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, setting the tone for their dining experience. Your primary responsibilities will include greeting guests, managing reservations, and ensuring a smooth flow of service. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills and a passion for providing exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly as they arrive and guide them to their tables.
• Manage reservations and maintain an organized seating chart to optimize guest flow.
• Answer phone calls with professionalism, providing information about the restaurant and taking reservations as needed.
• Assist with guest inquiries and provide information regarding menu items, specials, and restaurant policies.
• Collaborate with waitstaff and kitchen staff to ensure timely service and guest satisfaction.
• Monitor the dining area to ensure cleanliness and comfort for all guests.
• Handle guest complaints or concerns with empathy and professionalism, escalating issues to management when necessary.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred.
• Strong phone etiquette and communication skills are essential for effective guest relations.
• Familiarity with POS systems is a plus but not required; training will be provided.
• A commitment to providing outstanding customer service and enhancing the guest experience.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
