Diesel Mechanic Trainee
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Preventive maintenance inspections
Knowledge of routine preventive maintenance/repair procedures for tractors and trailers
High degree of motivation and attention to details
Ability to multitask and establish priorities
Ability to identify, report, and execute on recurring problem
Strong attention to details
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES, AND EXPERIENCE:
- The diesel mechanic Trainee will work closely with our Diesel Mechanics to get our customers back on the road quickly
- Learn preventative maintenance services
- Engaged in minor inspections, adjustments and/or minor chassis repairs
- Administrative duties as related to position
