Responsibilities:
- Salesforce Data Stewardship: Monitor, analyze, and improve the quality of data entered and maintained within Salesforce, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Experience Cloud. Ensure adherence to defined data standards, governance rules, and best practices.
- Process-Integrated Data Analysis: Analyze data flows and business processes that impact Salesforce records, including automated workflows, integrations with external systems, and user-driven updates. Identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for process optimization
- Ecosystem Reporting & Insights: Maintain reports and dashboards that provide actionable insights into Salesforce data, user behavior, and business performance. Partner with stakeholders to translate business questions into data-driven analysis.
- Data Integrity & Quality Management: Implement quality controls, validation rules, and monitoring to ensure consistency, accuracy, and completeness of Salesforce data. Proactively identify data gaps or inconsistencies and work cross-functionally to resolve them.
- Cross-System Data Governance: Collaborate with business teams to understand and support upstream/downstream systems that insert or update Salesforce data (e.g., CPQ, ERP, marketing platforms). Ensure data transformations and sync processes maintain data fidelity.
- Documentation & Standards Maintenance: Maintain clear documentation of data definitions, standards, and data lineage across Salesforce objects and related systems. Serve as a knowledge resource for data-related questions within the Salesforce ecosystem.
- User Enablement & Best Practices: Support Salesforce users by creating guidance, training materials, and self-service resources that promote consistent and accurate data entry. Champion data quality awareness across business units.
- Master Data Management & Data Quality Enablement: Leverage both native Salesforce tools (such as validation rules, duplicate management, and data integration capabilities) and external MDM solutions to ensure consistent, accurate, and governed data across the Salesforce ecosystem. Support the implementation of scalable data management frameworks that enforce standards, reduce duplication, and maintain data integrity across interconnected platforms
- Deep familiarity with Salesforce data structures, standard objects (e.g., Leads, Accounts, Opportunities), and reporting tools. Able to navigate and analyze within Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and related applications.
- Demonstrated understanding of data quality principles, governance best practices, and master data management concepts (both within Salesforce and across connected systems).
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills; comfortable identifying trends, inconsistencies, and business opportunities through data.
- High level of accuracy in working with data; strong ability to spot errors, inconsistencies, or anomalies in large datasets.
- Ability to interpret data in the context of sales, marketing, and customer engagement strategies. Understands how clean, consistent data drives better decision-making.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to translate data findings into compelling narratives for both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience working closely with Sales, Marketing, Operations, and other business teams to understand data needs and deliver insights that support strategic goals.
- Proactive mindset with a desire to explore, ask questions, and continuously improve the way data is used to support business outcomes.

- Bachelor's Degree required, Sales Operations, Sales Management, Operations, Data Analytics, Statistics, or Information Systems is a plus.
- 3-5 years of experience in a data analysis, business analysis, or reporting role—preferably in a Sales, Marketing, or Customer Operations environment.
- Hands-on experience with Salesforce as a primary data source, including building and interpreting reports and dashboards across multiple Salesforce clouds (e.g., Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud).
- Experience working with data visualization tools to present findings and support stakeholder decision-making.
- Familiarity with data quality, governance, and MDM practices—especially within cross-functional business environments where Salesforce is a core system of record.
- Experience working with or interpreting data from integrated platforms (e.g., CPQ, ERP, marketing automation tools, customer portals) that connect to or impact Salesforce data is a plus.
- Understanding of data quality principles, data governance, and Master Data Management (MDM) practices. Experience working with or supporting MDM frameworks and tools preferred.
- Salesforce certifications (such as Salesforce Associate or Salesforce Administrator) are a plus.
- MDM-related certifications or training are preferred but not required
- Developing knowledge of emerging technologies
- Previous Sales Operation or Sales experience is a plus
- Previous Manufacturing experience is a plus
- Previous Industry experience is a plus
