Responsibilities
- Perform account reconciliation to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data.
- Prepare and maintain balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring all accounts are accurately reflected.
- Process journal entries and manage debits and credits to maintain accurate financial records.
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports, providing insights through financial report interpretation.
- Support tax preparation processes by gathering necessary documentation and ensuring compliance with regulations.
- Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights and support decision-making processes.
- Maintain organized records of all financial transactions and documentation for audit purposes.
Experience
- Proven experience as an accounting clerk or in a similar role within the financial services industry is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of account reconciliation processes and balance sheet management.
- Familiarity with tax regulations and compliance requirements is a plus.
- Proficient in using financial software for accounting tasks, with the ability to learn new systems quickly.
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in all financial reporting activities.
