Job Overview:
As a Data Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining data accuracy and implementing best practices across a growing 200 person organization. You will collaborate with multiple departments, including Customer Success and Operations, to enhance data processes and provide actionable insights. Leveraging tools like Power BI, Domo, and AWS, you will help scale our operations to meet the increasing demands of our expanding client base.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain, clean, and manage data across the organization, ensuring accuracy and consistency at scale.
- Develop and promote best practices for internal data management, optimizing workflows across a 200 person organization.
- Analyze and visualize data using tools like Power BI and Domo to support business decisions.
- Work with technologies such as AWS, PostgreSQL/SQL Server, Python, and C# to process data and contribute to automation initiatives.
- Collaborate with Customer Success, Operations, and other departments to meet evolving data requirements.
- Mentor and coach junior team members on the importance of maintaining, proofreading, and entering quality data.
- Support process automation initiatives to streamline workflows and improve efficiency.
- Attend onsite meetings with investment firms in NYC to present data-driven insights (advantageous but optional).
Qualifications:
- Hands-on experience with Power BI, Domo, AWS, PostgreSQL/SQL Server, Python, and C# is a plus
- If someone has experience with Tableau instead of Power BI/Domo or Java instead of C#, we’d still want to speak with them.
- Experience working with financial data trumps specific tech stack requirements for this role.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail with a commitment to data accuracy.
- Experience working collaboratively across multiple departments in a mid-sized or large organization.
- Ability to mentor and guide junior team members on data best practices.
- Familiarity with financial services or experience working with investment firms is a plus.
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of financial services data and reporting requirements.
