Customer Administrator
We are a family run full-service packing, crating and transportation company located in the Chicago suburbs in search of a Customer Administrator to join our team.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Data entry - primarily entering information for customer’s loads
- Processing driver paperwork such as driver’s logs and fuel charges
- Tracking and tracing loads via email, phone or customer’s websites
- Assisting with accounts payable
- Additional clerical tasks as assigned
- This position at times will require you to wear many hats so someone who is flexible and adaptable
Education and/or Experience:
- MUST HAVE a minimum of 1-2 years of experience working in an office setting, ideally in the transportation industry – PLEASE DO NOT APPLY IF YOU DO NOT HAVE EXPERIENCE IN AN
OFFICE SETTING
- MUST HAVE basic computer and typing skills to include a working knowledge of Microsoft Office
Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Possess a strong customer service mentality
- Flexibility in dealing with tight deadlines and service sensitive issues on a daily basis
- Must possess strong written and oral communication skills
- Work well with others in a team environment
- Teachable and eager to learn
- Associates or Bachelor’s degree a plus, but not required
- Experience with Profit Tools and Great Plains highly desirable

Pay: $40k Based on Experience
Position includes Vacation, Paid Holidays, Medical & Dental Insurance, and 401K
