Job Summary
The Human Resources Safety Coordinator works as a liaison between Human Resources and the safety representatives from each department to ensure compliance and maintenance of Safety and OSHA regulations/protocol through hands on monthly Safety Committee meetings and a Learning Management System (LMS). The Safety Coordinator will also be the point of contact for COVID-19 response.

The Safety Coordinator will also be the point of contact for COVID-19 response.
Essential Job Duties
- Conduct monthly safety inspections across all company-owned properties including special events
- Work with the safety representative from each department to mitigate any safety issues/concerns that are identified
- Assist safety representatives from each department with creating and conducting training as necessary
- Track and conduct audit on departmental safety level training
- Conduct monthly Safety Committee meetings with representatives from each department
- Create, track, and conduct safety quarterly training in coordination with the I.T. department
- Ensure that all training and safety standards meet or exceed OSHA standards
- Tracking and maintaining COVID-19 response activities
- Conduct COVID-19 testing as needed
- Coordinate with Security for tracking of team members who were tested on property for COVID-19
- Coordinate with Payroll to ensure compliance with SB386
- Track and upload COVID-19 vaccination records to personnel files for active/terminated team members
- Review all Team Member Injuries (TMI)
- Coordinate with TPA for all TMI’s that require medical attention
- Investigate all TMI’s for possible preventative/corrective measure that may be taken to prevent the injury/incident from reoccurring
- Ensure all TMI’s are properly reported to Third Party Associates, our Legal Counsel, and Insurance Partner
- Ensure proper reporting of TMI’s that require OSHA notification
- Produce and submit the OSHA 300’s yearly

- 30-hour OSHA card is required or must be obtained at the time of employment
- Maintain eligibility to be registered with the Nevada Gaming Control Board
- Must have excellent communication skills (verbal and written) to effectively communicate with guests, employees, supervisors, and external organizations.
- Must be reliable, responsible, and dependable
- Must have knowledge of Microsoft applications
- Must meet company quality standards
- Previous related work experience preferred
- Requires normal, corrective vision range, the ability to see color and the ability to distinguish letters, numbers, and symbols
- Meticulously reading, examining, and observing
- Performance of job duties will require standing, walking, lifting, reaching, pushing, pulling, and grasping. These tasks include the maintenance and care of assigned area
