Gas Scheduling Representative
The Dahill Group is pleased to be assisting our client, a major energy industry service provider across North America, in search of an exceptional Gas Scheduling Representative to join their team. The position will be responsible for the scheduling, tracking, and optimization of gas supply needs to our clients CNG stations, ensuring both supply adequacy and cost-effectiveness. This includes ensuring a consistent gas supply, mitigating risks, and maintaining uninterrupted operations. This role will have accountability for the development and execution of related business strategies as well as be measured by gas supply performance to the stations. This role will also have other business-related responsibilities. This position will sit in either our client’s Denver or Houston or office.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Our client’s station gas scheduling/nominating, management, and reporting.- Provide operations teams daily compression targets to meet business needs while also managing operational balancing agreement parameters for each station.
- Execute month end balancing between compression, decompression and inventory. Monitor gas markets, ensure adequate and appropriate gas supply is available to the CNG stations.
- Plan and de-risk gas supply to CNG stations as well as optimize gas purchase price as available.
- Evaluate gas supply for potential projects related to CNG and power infrastructure opportunities.
- Review, QC operating data (compression, PRS) and identify issues and coordinate fixes with the operations and sales teams as needed.
- Interface with operations, sales, and engineering to provide as needed data and reporting. Work with systems teams to integrate operations data into visualization reporting systems. Quality check and reconcile internal and external daily, weekly, and monthly reports. Support our client’s team with various daily, weekly, and monthly operational monitoring, reporting, and communications along with other projects to achieve company goals.
- Develop and implement metrics to measure gas supply performance.
- Regularly report on performance metrics and identify areas for improvement.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Engineering.
- Minimum five years of experience in oilfield services and/or sales - midstream,
- Working knowledge and experience in midstream gas and/or pipeline scheduling required.
- Good understanding of operations, engineering, sales, supply chain and accounting.
- Attention to detail and analytical skills.

- Strong with Excel and ERP systems.

SALARY & BENEFITS
Target Annual Base Compensation Range: $90,000 to $120,000
Annual Target Bonus – based on individual and company performance: 15% - 20% (paid out quarterly)
