Duties
- Greet and welcome guests, providing them with menus and answering questions about our food and beverage offerings
- Take orders and serve food and drinks to guests in a timely and efficient manner
- Manage tables and ensure that guests receive attentive service throughout their dining experience
- Handle cash and operate a cash register with accuracy and precision
- Maintain a clean and organized dining area, including the kitchen and restrooms
- Assist with bussing and cleaning tables and chairs
- Provide exceptional guest relations, including responding to complaints and addressing any concerns in a professional and courteous manner
- Work effectively as part of a team to ensure that all guests receive excellent service and that the restaurant operates smoothly
Qualifications
- Previous experience in the food industry, preferably in a server or hospitality role
- Strong knowledge of food and beverage preparation and presentation
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tables and orders at once
- Physical stamina to lift and carry heavy trays and equipment
- Familiarity with cash register operations and basic accounting principles
