Job Summary: This position is primarily responsible for providing trauma-informed mental health/substance abuse treatment, assessment, and brief intervention to children, adolescents, and their families. The clinician will work collaboratively with Daily Planet Health Services’ medical, behavioral health, and case management teams to provide comprehensive trauma-informed services to children and adolescents under our care. Participates in all safety programs, which may include assignment to an emergency response team.

Job Requirements: Master’s degree in social work or relevant field required. LCSW, LPC, or related licensure required. Two (2) to four (4) years of experience providing therapeutic trauma-informed behavioral health services to children and adolescents is required. Knowledge of mental health, substance abuse, medical and trauma-informed care is required. Experience working with the homeless and uninsured preferred. Registered in Play Therapy or willingness to pursue certification. Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred. Skills include excellent oral and written communications including telephone, organizational, and personal computer including word processing and Microsoft office.
