What are the responsibilities and job description for the High School Substitute Teacher (Specific Content Areas) position at The Dalton School?
The Dalton School seeks applicants for the position of Faculty Substitute Teacher for the High School. The Faculty Substitutes will generally be hired on a daily basis as needed to help to cover specific classes in the absence of regular teachers. We are eager to expand our pool of local candidates who have clear expertise in subject matter, enjoy the flexibility of substitute teaching, and who would like to be part of the larger Dalton community.
We are currently accepting applications only in these HS departments: English, History, World & and Classical Languages, Math, and Science. Please note we are not seeking any Music substitutes at this time.
Qualifications:
- Relevant teaching experience
- College degree
- A background check and proof of COVID vaccination is required for all candidates who enter the school.
