The Dana Agency, a leading public relations agency specializing in real estate and luxury lifestyle brands, is seeking an Account Supervisor to lead its real estate division from our Miami office. The ideal candidate is an exceptional leader skilled at gaining the confidence and trust of their clients and fostering strong team collaboration. The Account Supervisor is a key member of the agency’s leadership team and should be passionate about destination marketing, real estate and luxury lifestyle.  


Candidates must be commercially minded and creative in nature, outgoing, goal-oriented, and adept at building relationships with clients, industry professionals and senior journalists.  They should have experience juggling multiple clients, managing a team and have 7 years public relations experience. Experience within the destination marketing and real estate spaces is a must; additional experience in hospitality, culinary and luxury lifestyle is a plus.   When submitting your resume, please outline your relevant experience across the industries mentioned above. 


Core responsibilities include:

  • Serve as the strategic client point of contact and offer superior client service to maintain a high level of contract renewals and referrals.
  • Oversee PR campaigns from creative brief, to planning, execution and results/tracking based on clients goals, opportunities, needs and budget.
  • Provide final review and approval of client-facing documents, including but not limited to press releases, media alerts, roundups, bios, fact sheets, etc.
  • Utilize well-honed relationships with the media to maximize press coverage and help the team build similar media relationships.
  • Recommend strategic partnerships and activations to clients, demonstrating how those will help achieve the client’s goals.
  • Develop case studies of successful events, media campaigns, and other agency work that can be leveraged for future new business proposals, awards, etc. 
  • Monitor trends, ensuring the team creates media-worthy strategies and pitch angles, and report industry trends and timely news to clients. 
  • Assign staffing for client events and shoots and staff high level events and shoots as needed. 
  • Occasionally represent The Dana Agency during industry events.
  • Identify opportunities that will enhance the agency’s reputation. 
  • Lead, guide and mentor junior members of the team with a positive attitude. 
  • Create an inspiring workplace environment that fosters open communication and collaboration.


Requirements include:

  • 7 years prior PR work experience in destination marketing and real estate industry.
  • Exceptional verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent written communications skills (including editing and presentation skills) and a strong attention to detail. 
  • Experience in delegating and managing junior team members.
  • A proven track record of success delivering high-quality pitches that resulted in national media features. 
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, project management and client relationship skills.
  • Established media relationships in the hospitality and real estate space.
  • Experience working with traditional and new media, podcasts and influencers.
  • Comfortable leading client calls and serving as the primary day-to-day client contact.
  • Highly organized, with a proactive take-initiative attitude, a solution-driven, creative thinker experienced working in a collaborative and fast-paced environment, managing multiple clients.
