Duties
- Greet and seat guests in a friendly and professional manner.
- Present menus and provide detailed information about food and beverage offerings.
- Take accurate orders using Aloha POS or OpenTable systems, ensuring all special requests are noted.
- Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation.
- Assist guests with any inquiries or concerns, demonstrating excellent customer service skills.
- Process payments accurately, handling cash and credit transactions with care.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including tables, utensils, and condiments.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and address any issues that may arise.
- Uphold restaurant policies regarding health and safety standards.
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred but not required.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with guests.
- Excellent time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tables and tasks simultaneously.
- Familiarity with cash handling procedures is an asset.
- Knowledge of guest relations practices to enhance the dining experience.
