Summary:
The Busser is responsible for contributing to a positive guest dining experience by quickly
clearing and resetting tables, stocking, and maintaining clean side stations.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
• Clear and reset tables, quickly and efficiently, according to restaurant standards
• Stock and maintain side stations
• Check all silverware, glassware, and tableware for cleanliness, defective pieces
• Proper stacking of soiled plates and glasses in the dish room
• Maintain cleanliness standards throughout the restaurant
• Respond to guest requests
• Assist servers as necessary
• Pre bus tables
• Stock and maintain restaurant areas as assigned
• Complete daily/weekly side work
• Complete additional tasks at the direction of management
• Ensure excellent service standards and positive guest interactions
REQUIREMENTS
o Able to stand for an 8-10 hour shift
o Able to lift glass racks of 25lbs
o Able to carry trays up to 40lbs
o Able to climb stairs and ladders
o Able to repetitively lift glass racks, trays, and other items
o Able to reach above the head and stoop to put items on the floor or on shelves
o Read and understand English
o Able to work as part of a team for the benefit of the guest
o Able to work in a consistently fast paced, loud environment
