The DarkStar Group is seeking an Applications Integration Developer with a TS / SCI Poly clearance (applicable to this customer) to join one of our top projects in Dulles, VA. Below is an overview of the project, as well as information on our company and our benefits.

THE PROGRAM

The DarkStar Group is a member of 100% of the winning teams for the largest technology program in the Intel Community. We've been supporting this customer on many different sub-projects of this program since our founding in 2013. The Role

The Application Integration Developer position requires the ability to design, develop, troubleshoot, and debug complex software applications. The candidate must be passionate about programming, quality, and enjoy communicating and working with end-users. The ability to work in a team environment is critical.

Duties :

Support a team in maintaining and enhancing enterprise applications

Track highly technical data on a regular basis and work closely with team members to retain the information for analytical / troubleshooting efforts.

Communicate with team members to clarify requirements and overcome obstacles to meet team goals

Develop cutting-edge solutions to maximize the performance, scalability, and distributed processing capabilities of the system

Maintain appropriate technical training to ensure skills are kept current with evolving technology

Perform other duties as assigned at the direction of Project Management

Travel : Limited travel opportunities

Required Skills

Minimum of three (3) years of experience specific to the skills identified in a position's Qualification Summary, plus the Education qualification.

Bachelor's degree related to the specific skill from an accredited college or university, preferred. Relevant work experience related to the labor category may be substituted for the degree requirement.

Willingness to travel

Two (2) or more years of experience as a Full Stack software developer.

Experience in backend development and creating APIs

Experience deploying automation applications in a cloud-based environment (e.g., Terraform, Puppet, Ansible)

Experience working with major cloud service providers (e.g., Azure, AWS)

Experience with Big Data platforms (e.g., DynamoDB, OpenSearch, Solr)

Desired Skills (Optional)

Experience with Operating System automation

Experience with Relational Databases (e.g., SQL, MySQL, Oracle)

Experience developing applications using Java, Sencha EXTJS, or Node JS

Experience with deployment of business intelligence applications (e.g., Tableau, PowerBI)

Experience in creating and maintaining a CI / CD pipeline
