JOB SUMMARY:
Works in a fast-paced environment supporting a rapidly growing loan-servicing department. This candidate will be responsible for a variety of clerical tasks that can change on a daily basis. This is a temporary position (6-12 months).
I. SERVICING DUTIES MAY INCLUDE:
1. Open and sort incoming mail.
2. Handle mail returned by the US Postal Service, including processing any necessary address changes.
3. Perform various data entry functions.
4. Scan and index documents into Synergy document management platform.
5. Upload insurance documents to third-party insurance vendor.
6. Responsible for logging, reconciling and filing new promissory notes.
7. Assist in paid note processing by removing portfolio notes from active files. Request paid notes for investor loans from the appropriate document custodian.
8. Perform a variety of other duties as assigned.
9. Adheres to all Federal and State laws and regulations, including the Bank Secrecy Act.

4. Ability to read and understand loan documents
5. Proficient computer and Excel skills

IV. JOB SPECIFICATIONS:
1. Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
2. Skills: Good written and oral communication, experience with Microsoft Office.
3. Experience: Prior experience in office setting preferred.
V. ACCURACY AND ACCOUNTABILITY: Measured by ability to effectively service portfolio and perform job duties accurately and in a timely manner.
