The focus of a condo reviewer is to provide complete sound risk evaluation of condo documentation for mortgage applications while always putting the customer first and ensuring the highest loan quality.  Maintaining an attitude of approachability and willingness to assist in troubleshooting with customers and Dart Bank departments as needed.  They thrive in our ever-changing environment and take great pride in contributing to Dart Bank being an industry leader.

Primary Duties:

1. Responsible for reviewing complex condominium projects and documentation provided by internal teams, external partners, and lending agencies to ensure conditions are met and transaction meets full lender and limited review program salability requirements.  Ensure that condo project documentation in closed loan files meets the necessary underwriting guidelines for FNMA, FHLMC, FHA and VA.
2. Condition loan files and review for the appropriate documentation as submitted to determine eligibility—including HOA questionnaires, master insurance, budgets, declarations and by laws, contracts and appraisals etc.
3. Run various AUS programs including CPM/CPA, review findings and clear conditions. Must have ability to use experience and independent judgement to review documents and collect remaining information from various sources.
4. Thorough understanding of underwriting fundamentals, especially condo fundamentals, and able to implement changing regulations, guidelines, and overlays to ensure a minimal potential for error when approving a project.
5. Review additional loan documentation as identified and trained by management (i.e. hazard and flood insurance).
6. Prioritize workflow to meet deadlines, maintaining or exceeding established turn times and SLA.
7. Assist post-closing /insuring with any additional documentation or requests—both internal and external.
8. Responsible for adhering to all Quality Control/investor requirements including but not limited to timely response to audit requests.
9. Actively participate and advocate the bank’s training and development programs and commitment to learning.
10. Execute an appraisal analysis to determine that acceptable collateral standards are met, while completing the necessary research to determine federal, state and company compliance.
11. Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to handle delicate situations with diplomacy and tact.  Experience in dealing with HOA and insurance companies is required.
12. Maintain strong knowledge and understanding of Agency and product requirements.  Continuing education is required.
13. Responsible for following company policies and procedures as directed. Never employ workarounds to procedures or policies.
14. Be relentlessly resourceful in finding answers and assist in creation of trainings, manuals and job aids as needed.
15. Ability to design and deliver training (products/processes/policies/procedures etc.) as needed.
16. Maintain strong positive communication with all departments to develop cohesive working relationships.
17. All other duties as assigned.
18. Adheres to all Federal and State laws and regulations, including the Bank Secrecy Act.

Education/Training/Experience:

5 years of recent condo review experience is required.  Candidates must be proficient with AUS and appraisal reviews; plus, a strong understanding of agency guidelines is required.  Experience in Encompass is ideal and the wholesale market is preferred.

Minimum Education Requirement: College degree or equivalent experience.
