AnalyticData Engineer

The Data Sherpas are a team of highly skilled and motivated engineers that help our clients at every phase of their cloud journey. If it touches the cloud, involves data, or lives as an application, we have either worked on it or have the skills and expertise to accomplish it.

What We Are Looking For :

We are looking for self-motivated and data-driven engineers for our clients' data platform upgrade. This role needs to have a solid background in data and analytics engineering, with a solid foundation in Snowflake, FiveTran, and DBT. This person will collaborate closely with other engineers, DevOps and business stakeholders in developing data products.

Responsibilities :

• Leverage DBT on Snowflake to build a scalable set of common transformations for landed data
• Leverage DBT on Snowflake to build business logic and transform raw data for analytic, ML and reporting use cases
• Utilize knowledge of the modern data stack to build scalable and intuitive

automation and data products with a focus on Snowflake, FiveTran and DBT

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to capture and convert business

requirements into technical solutions

• Has experience working with data sets in the exabyte size

Qualifications :

• Advanced knowledge of ANSI SQL
• Knowledge of DBT best practices
• Knowledge of the Snowflake database
• Knowledge of Python and PySpark
• Knowledge in CI : Automated code integration and testing

Nice to have :

• Knowledge of AWS and its supporting services
• AWS Data Engineering Certification
• Knowledge of media and ad tech agency data, including data enrichment partners and the martech stack
• Knowledge of Data Mesh principles
