What you'll do:
- This is a SEASONAL POSITION starting March
- You will patrol utility right-of-ways by foot and apply line marker stickers and document via provided software application.
- Adhere to all safety regulations set forth by the company and gas line industry.
Qualifications
- Love of the outdoors and the ability to work and hike in various terrain for 8-12 hours a day in all weather conditions
- Ability to operate with limited remote supervision
Demonstrated expertise in problem solving, meeting deadlines, Ability to understand and read digital maps
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Availability and desire to travel throughout the Northeast, Southeast, and Western Ohio
- Valid Driver’s License with clean DMV driving record
Organizational skills; working knowledge of computers and programs High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Ability to lift and carry 30 pounds
Qualifications
Education and Qualifications:
An individual must be able to perform each essential job duty consistently and satisfactorily. The requirements listed are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
- Professional or Collegiate Practical Tree Work Experience (including Collegiate Climbing Classes, Forestry Club Operations, Production Climber, Groundsman, or Lift Operator, etc).
- Proficiency with local Tree Identification and Tree Physiology. ISA Certified Arborist or ability to obtain in 6-12 months. Commercial Pesticide Applicator’s License.
- Current Driver’s License and Driving Record in good standing.
- Proficient working knowledge of computers. Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, PowerPoint.
