Tree Groundperson

Position Overview

We are currently looking to add a dynamic Tree Groundperson to our passionate team of tree care professionals. Your office is outdoors, and you get a new view every day!

Job Duties

You will assist in stump grinding operations, assist tree pruning/removal crew members.

Performing all aspects of tree pruning and removal services safely and skillfully for clients Including but not limited to:

Operate stump grinders, chainsaws, tractors, excavation equipment, and more

Properly maintain, prepare and operate all tools and equipment including chainsaws, chippers, aerial lifts and more.

Qualifications

Required: Previous experience operating stump grinders, chainsaws, tractors, excavation equipment, and more

Required: 1 year experience as Groundperson

Required: Valid Florida Driver's license

Ability to complete the Davey Tree Trimmer Orientation Program upon hire

Ability to complete the Davey Tree First Aid, CPR and defensive driving course upon hire

Must be able to lift 50 pounds

Additional Information

$18 - $20 per hour
