Essential Duties:
· Sales and Marketing support: research, organize and provide information to sales staff or directly to current or prospective suppliers and customers, organize meetings with prospects through phone and email, follow up with prospects through phone, email and in-person meetings, coordinate on-site sales and marketing activities at customer locations, organize, input and update CRM data, analyze and prepare reports of sales data and trends.
· Customer/Supplier support: respond to and fulfill customer and supplier requests for contract, product and payment support, through phone and email.
· Operations support: assist in preparing and delivering virtual presentations and events, monitor and research government databases to discover bidding opportunities, monitor and research government information for government purchasing data, assist with modifications of government and supplier contracts, act as POC for all government purchasing research needs, and perform first-level problem-solving to overcome obstacles.
· Administrative support: create agendas for and attend daily and weekly staff meetings, take, organize and keep notes and follow-up to ensure tasks are completed, coordinate tasks with other staff when necessary, prepare and track purchase orders to suppliers, prepare and provide AP and AR reports for supervisor, act as POC for office vendors, maintain company databases and other technology to ensure data is accurate, current and usable.
· Additional duties: take on other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Position Requirements:
· Bachelor's Degree in a business, science, psychology, marketing or related field, or equivalent job experience
· Excellent critical thinking, organizational, grammar, reading comprehension and writing skills
· Pleasant speaking voice and ability to demonstrate friendliness and understanding through both verbal and non-verbal communication
· Ability to establish competence with company technology within a few weeks
· Ability to work independently and fulfill job duties with minimal supervision
· Pride in performance that drives excellent attention to detail while still meeting deadlines
· Willingness to shift focus and schedule to meet company needs and to assist with tasks that may not be within your job description
· Willingness to learn additional skills and assume greater levels of responsibility

Position Preferences:
· Work experience with pharmaceutical or medical products
· Understanding of federal government or hospital/clinic purchasing processes and practices

Position Details:
· Full-time, permanent
· Reports to Company Chief Operations Officer
· Working hours: generally 8 hour workdays (timing is somewhat flexible with supervisor approval) between the hours of 8 AM and 6 PM.
· Compensation: $17 to $25/hr, depending on experience, plus potential for bonuses based on achievement of position and Company goals
· Physical: must be able to lift and carry at least 35 lbs (video equipment, conference accessories, etc) and use computer for most of the workday.
· Travel: Company overnight travel to assist with conferences or supplier or customer site visits may be required a few times a year.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $24.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
