We offer competitive wages! Our Cocktail Club Bartenders are paid $18-19 per hour.
BASIC PURPOSE:
The Bartender works directly with customers by mixing and serving drinks.
MAJOR WORK ACTIVITIES:
1. Verifies the identification and age of customers.
2. Welcome customers.
3. Prepares and serves beverages at the customer’s request.
4. Makes order suggestions based on customer tastes and preferences.
5. Plans drink menus and informs customers about new beverages and specials.
6. Upsell to a top-shelf liquor without being rude or pushy.
7. Mixes traditional and creative cocktails.
8. Process payment form customers.
9. Opens and maintains tabs throughout the shift.
10. Balances cash receipts to record sales.
11. Cleans glasses and bar utensils.
12. Builds a rapport with regular customers to create a positive atmosphere.
13. Obeys all federal, state, and local laws.
14. Other duties as assigned by the Bar Manager.
**THIS IS A PART-TIME POSITION OFFERING A SET SCHEDULE FROM 3pm - 8pm**
Requirements
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND WORKING CONDITIONS:
· Works in a well-lighted, temperature-controlled area.
· Physical exertion including frequent standing, stooping, walking, reaching, handling and pushing. Lifting and carrying of objects up to 50 lbs.
· Knowledge of alcoholic beverages and cocktails.
· Must be able to legally serve alcohol.
· Knowledge and use of cash register.
· High level customer service skills.
· Possess good communication and interpersonal skills.
· Minimal exposure to infectious diseases.
· Physical job demands may be subject to possible modifications to reasonably accommodate individuals with disabilities.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: High School Diploma or GED
Experience: At least 1 year of bartending experience is preferred.
An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
Salary : $18 - $19
