Pay Rate of the Quality Assurance Specialist:

Responsibilities of the Quality Assurance Specialist:
- Prepare and manage First Article Inspection Reports (FAIRs) in compliance with AS9102 Aerospace standards.
- Perform detailed inspection of products and processes to identify defects and ensure adherence to quality standards.
- Document inspection results, including measurements, material certifications, and visual inspections.
- Maintain and update inspection records and reports for compliance with customer and regulatory requirements.
- Support production teams in resolving quality-related issues and implement corrective actions when necessary.
- Assist in the development and continuous improvement of quality control processes.
- Review production work instructions to ensure consistency with customer requirements.
- Ensure compliance with relevant quality and safety standards, including IPC 610 and IPC 620 standards, as applicable.
- Strong knowledge of AS9102 Aerospace FAIRs and the related documentation requirements.
- Familiarity with IPC 610 and IPC 620 standards is a plus, but not required.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues.
- Familiarity with ISO 9001 or AS9100 standards is a plus.
- Minimum of 1 years of experience in a quality assurance or quality control role, with specific experience in preparing FAIRs (First Article Inspection Reports).
