Sr. CNC Machine Operator - DIRECT HIRE
We are currently hiring for a full time, direct hire, Sr. Machine Operator at our client's advanced manufacturing facility! If you have CNC machine experience and ready to make a move, this is the role for you! Seeking folks with 3 or 5 axis cnc experience.
Pay rate :
22-$24 / hr base rate depending on experience
with a 15% shift diff
2nd shift :
Monday - Friday from 3 : 30 PM - 11 : 30 PM
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
- Operate required machines or equipment to produce a diversified range of parts on short or long run work, and exacting finish specifications. Follow established procedures, verbal instructions, and information obtained from set-up cards and layout sheets (certified process or engineered cycles) to ensure parts are manufactured per process and drawing requirements.
- Replace worn tooling and adjust machines as needed
- Use micrometers, verniers, optical comparator, microscope, and a variety of fixed and adjustable gauges to set-up equipment and check work. Review calibration of all measuring equipment. Patrol machines using the 4-bin system.
- Train new hires as assigned, and provide assistance to peers as needed to minimize operator downtime
- Perform complex troubleshooting and correct operating difficulties, maintain required records, detect and report unusual conditions to assigned leader.
- Operate automation equipment and provide minor troubleshooting within work area as assigned
- Keep work area clean and orderly, observing all safety rules and regulations, and conforming to OSHA regulations.
- Move materials, parts, and containers, as required, to complete job duties.
