Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Technical Support Specialist to join our team.
About the Role:
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for high-powered laser and electronic systems.
- Issue and manage Return Material Authorizations (RMAs), ensuring accurate database entries.
- Coordinate repair activities, including both warranty and non-warranty services.
- Support mid- to high-power laser system installations and post-installation activities.
- Assist in the development of training modules for internal teams and customers.
- Help manage failure analysis activities, documenting findings and maintaining detailed records.
- Create and update work instructions, procedures, user manuals, and training documents.
Requirements:
- Associate degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field (or equivalent hands-on experience).
- Prior experience in electrical troubleshooting, laser technology, or electronics is a plus.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical documents.
- Strong troubleshooting skills in electrical systems.
- Excellent communication skills and a problem-solving mindset to assist customers effectively.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and general computer skills.
- Ability to work after hours/on-call shifts as needed.
- Up to 20% travel, including some international trips.
