Pay Rate of the Visual Inspector:

Responsibilities of the Visual Inspector:
- Performing accurate visual inspection of raw materials in accordance with customer drawings, workmanship standards and specification requirements.
- Operate measuring equipment to verify product's dimensional accuracy
- Perform accurate computer transactions within ERP system
- Conducting visual inspection to verify fine detail work
- Documenting and reporting inspection findings and results
- Reading and interpreting acceptable standards and quality requirements
- Other responsibilities as required
- 2 years of visual microscope inspection experience required
- Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail
- Familiarity with AS9100/ISO9001 and industry specifications such as MIL Standard and/or IPC
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Ability to sit and inspect product through microscope for up to 8 hours/shift
- Ability to use and read basic inspection and metrology tools including micrometers and calipers
- Must be able to read, comprehend and interpret dimensional drawings
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (excel, word, and outlook)
- Previous experience in a production/manufacturing environment preferred
