What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse Manager position at The Davis Companies?
Responsibilities of the Warehouse Manager:
- Leadership, management and development of warehouse talent.
- Department responsibility to include: receiving, unpacking, quality checking and ensuring all inbound material is received into stock daily. The Warehouse team is also responsible for picking, packing and preparing all orders.
- Develop and track warehouse KPI’s and driving accountability and improvement actions.
- Ensure accuracy of shipments and inventory transactions.
- Drive process improvement on material flow across building.
- Confirm on time delivery to customer service and communicate if shipments are delayed.
- Organize and maintain inventory levels for accuracy and physical space utilization.
Requirements of the Warehouse Manager:
- Degree preferred, BS Business, Operations, or equivalent
- Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred
- 5 years of experience in a similar role with familiarity of industrial automation products and working in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to analyze data and provide insights from data
