Summary
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Mixologist to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cocktail preparation and customer service, with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for our guests. As a Mixologist, you will be responsible for crafting innovative drinks, managing bar operations, and ensuring an exceptional experience for all patrons in our establishment.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, beers, wines, and soft drinks.
- Create unique drink recipes and maintain an up-to-date menu that reflects current trends and customer preferences.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, taking drink orders accurately, and ensuring timely delivery.
- Operate cash registers and POS systems (including Aloha POS) to process transactions efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and restocking supplies as needed.
- Monitor inventory levels of liquor, mixers, and garnishes; assist with ordering supplies when necessary.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations while serving food and beverages in compliance with local laws.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service during busy periods.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Mixologist or Bartender in a nightclub or fine dining environment is preferred.
- Strong time management skills to handle high-volume service efficiently.
- Familiarity with cash register operations and POS systems (experience with Aloha POS is a plus).
- Knowledge of brewing techniques and food service standards within the food industry.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to create memorable experiences for guests.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends as required by the business needs.
- Must be at least 21 years of age in accordance with legal requirements.
